The Day of the Treatment

Please ensure that your horse is ready for his/her session by catching your horse, removing rugs and any dirt or mud from your horse's body and legs. Please ensure that your horse is not sweaty or wet and hooves are not oiled.

After the treatment, your horse will need to have access to clean, fresh water and placed in a large paddock or yard to facilitate movement.

When to Schedule a Treatment

Ideally, the first Bowen treatment should be scheduled when you can give your horse a minimum of 24 hours rest from work. This allows the body time to process and integrate the treatment.

Treatments can be tailored to accommodate individual training sessions so please contact me to discuss.
